On 4 June, the former Lorient Australia started trading under its registered company name of Kilargo.
Chief Executive Tony Tapper said the trading name change will only bring customer benefits.
“Our team hasn’t changed. We continue to provide smart and simple solutions to contain fire, smoke and sound in buildings everywhere – with the same passion for incredible service.
“When our licensing agreement with Lorient expired recently, we decided to move forward with the Kilargo name and brand. It’s a great opportunity to better define and position our business, while providing it with a fresh look and feel.”
Tony said there are no changes to product supply, quality or range.
“We will continue to proudly manufacture and source most of our products in Australia, meaning fast turnaround and short lead times,” he said. “Products previously manufactured by us under the Lorient Australia brand will now boast the Kilargo brand. We’ll continue to import a small number of products, including some Lorient fire seal products.”
Customers may simply notice a few changed product codes: from the “LE” prefix to “IS” – for example, LE1212 will now change to IS1212.
Prices, service standards and existing warranties also won’t be affected.
“Customers will simply enjoy the natural benefits that come from an even more energised team – united by a shared understanding of, and commitment to, our brand,” said Tony.
