About the project:

The Ecosciences Precinct was built on the 9.5ha Old Boggo Road Gaol site at Dutton Park and forms part of the Boggo Road Urban Village.  The Government-funded project is Australia’s first multi-agency centre, bringing together over 1,000 research staff from the Department of Environment and Research Management; the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation; and the CSIRO.

The facility includes office and laboratory space, computer rooms, greenhouses, glasshouses, insectaries, controlled climate facilities, conference facilities, meeting rooms, an information centre and other purpose-built buildings.

The simple and smart solution:

A select combination of seals were utilised for the controlled containment areas, successfully meeting air-leakage specifications.
