An innovative new mobile phone app from Kilargo is set to help customers make the right choice of Intumescent Fire Dampers (IFDs) to protect their building during a fire event.
The app provides IFD guidance so customers can select from Kilargo’s extensive range of leading solutions, based on the specific application and use. It’s also a mobile reference guide for installers who need instant access to installation instructions.
The Kilargo IFD Selection App is due for release in November, and details on how to download and use it for iPhone and Android will be provided at this time.

In early 2017, Kilargo will launch the IFD Aero – the next generation blade design for IFDs and the only IFD specifically developed for the heating, ventilation and airconditioning (HVAC) industry. A new blade means new benefits: better building airflow and energy efficiency, plus total confidence for architects, specifiers and installers.
The IFD Aero will be released after the final development phase is complete and all remaining external testing has been conducted.
